Mountaineer, philanthropist and large development specialist, Ranjit Thambyrajah is one of Asia Pacific’s most successful global funding experts for large-scale projects. He is widely recognised for delivering innovative finance solutions, often where others have failed. Ranjit has expanded and strengthened the footprint of Acuity Funding in the Asia Pacific region, opening offices in Nepal and Singapore with plans underway for an office in Vietnam. Throughout his career Ranjit has been honoured with industry awards including Mortgage Professional Australia’s (MPA’s) # 1 Australian Commercial Broker for an unprecedented four years running in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Ranjit’s expertise as a funding disruptor means he is considered a reputable commentator on global investment in the Asia Pacific and his views have been featured in the British Financial Times, and similar European magazines involved in the insurance industry. A committed philanthropist, Ranjit has contributed to overseas and local humanitarian and community-based causes. He spends one month per year volunteering in overseas community projects, most recently in earthquake stricken Nepal. He is a mentor, fundraiser and involved in local support-based initiatives.
