David Morgan’s Mesa Band has just launched its latest album, Long Road which is now available on iTunes.

As with Mesa Band’s first album, Nor West Friends, most of the songs on Long Road relate to the Pilbara Region of Western Australia.

Songs include the haunting title track, Long Road, as well as Dampier Days and Rocking on the ROM (a song for all the Pilbara miners).

The Mesa Band has also recorded its first ever cover, the old 80’s Church classic, Under the Milky Way which features Sydney songstress, Jess Pearson on lead vocals.

And, for those with an interest in the history of Aussie Rules footy in Vietnam, there is Forever We Will Run (see below video clip from You Tube). The Australian diggers played footy from 1966-71 in Vung Tau in a competition known as the VFL (Vietnam Football League). The tradition was resurrected in 2010 by the Vietnam Swans with the Annual ANZAC Friendship Match.

Please tell the world.
