23 Vietnamese Students will fly back to Hanoi yesterday after spending the last 3.5 weeks in Australia. Former AusCham Member, Bill Williams who now resides back in Australia, provides more information.

This year my wife, Heni, brought 23 Vietnamese High School students to Australia for her “Australian High School Experience” program.

What great ambassadors the students were for their country.

Thanks to Wodonga Senior Secondary College (incuding the Felltimber Middle Year Campus), and St Monica’s Primary School communities for making the Vietnamese kids so welcome. The photos are from their farewell presentation.

Wodonga Senior Secondary College has its first Vietnamese student enrolled to finish Year 11 and 12 at WSSC. A second Vietnamese student is expected to arrive next year.

It’s another great example of the richness of the links that exist between Australia and Vietnam.
