The Board at its meeting on 12 April 2016 confirmed that, effective immediately, individual scores of candidates at the Annual General Meeting elections will be kept confidential. Names of winning candidates, without individual scores, will be presented to attendees at AGMs.

The decision reflects the Board’s desire to minimise any perceived loss of face for unsuccessful candidates who have generously put up their hand to serve the members.

Previously, the administration posted results, with individual scores at the AGM itself – but not outside.

To ensure the ongoing integrity of the AGM elections, the Board keeps its right to review any and all individual results.
