Cecilia Trandang is the Managing Director at Cavalry Financial, a privately-owned financial consulting firm based in Melbourne and Head of South East Asia at Sanguine Investments.
Cecilia has a distinguished career in Finance spanning over 2 decades. Prior to coming back to Melbourne in early 2019, she has been working and living in Asia for 12 years and held senior positions in a number of financial institutions.
Cecilia holds a Master of Business Administration from Charles Sturt University, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Securities Institute of Australia, a Bachelor of Business from Monash University and a Diploma in Finance Broking.
Cecilia was an AusCham Board Member and Treasurer between 2016-2019.
David was one of the main instigators in the re-birth of the West Australian Vietnam Business Council in 2015. Having lived and worked in Vietnam, David is passionate about establishing trade and investment relationships between Western Australia and Vietnam.
Born in Bristol, England, David migrated to Western Australia in 1982 and after ten years working for Woodside Offshore in Karratha as an Electrical / Instrumentation engineer he returned to Perth and began a new career as a ‘Change Management’ specialist. David worked throughout Australia /NZ and South East Asia, working across a very diverse range of industries that included Oil & Gas, Mining, Marine, Construction, Engineering, Logistics, and International Tourism.
In 2012, David founded Spinifex International Business Services and over the last eight years has united a small team of business specialist who share his passion for not only helping but also connecting SME’s in Australia, and Vietnam.
David has been President of the Perth based West Australian Vietnam Business Council for four years and was recently instrumental in helping the West Australian Government sign an MOU with the Ba Ria Vung Tau Dept of Trade & Investment.
Footnote: David is also a musician / composer and whilst living in Vietnam successfully released a four track CD called ‘Hello Vietnam’ which promoted Vietnam as a destination for international tourist and he also wrote and recorded ‘Forever We Will Run’ a song that tells the story of the Vietnam Swans footy team origins.
Joe Fussell is the CEO of AS White Global (ASW) an integrated remote staffing operation which he founded in Vietnam in 2011 focusing on the Australian market. Over that time he has grown ASW from one client with 10 staff to over 1100 staff (across Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia) supporting more than 60 clients in Australia across a variety of industry sectors. More recently he has also established an offshoot of ASW, The Talent Consultants which is a talent acquisition company focused on South East Asian growth markets including Vietnam. Prior to establishing ASW Joe held “C” level roles in the IT and Insurance industries in Sydney. Spending a significant amount of time in Vietnam over the last 10 years and working with companies to help them establish teams in South East Asia, Joe has become passionate about the opportunities for both Australia and Vietnam to grow and leverage business relationships.

Simon White is a high-profile Australian C Level business identity with a background in International Project Management & strategy consulting in rapid growth tech-based companies
Simon currently consults to a number of key national and international organisations across a range of high-level business engagement models. He is also the CEO of the Australia Israel Chamber of Commerce in Brisbane, where he works alongside business & government to enhance trade relationships between these 2 countries.
As MD of WhiteCorp International, Simon drives the success & profile of the organisation through deepening the wide range of Worldwide networks & relationships that are the lifeblood of the company. His work within strategy and growth enables companies to fulfil their goals with articulated and measured planning.
He has run successful trade missions to Israel, The United States, The Philippines, China, Vietnam, New Zealand & pacific Island nations.
Simon was Brisbane City’s G20 Project Leader in 2014, hosting over 3500 guests and 130 Global speakers in a globally recognised engagement program.
He is a board member of The Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, GC Hub on the Gold Coast, The W Hub, Committee for Brisbane sub committees, and in-kind advisor to several charity organisations.
He holds a Bachelor of International Business, Bachelor of International Law and an MBA. He is qualified in Governance & Framework development in Cyber Security Risk.
Tori Dixon-Whittle is a multi-skilled entrepreneur with a unique skill set ranging from business development, marketing, international diplomacy and product development in industries including the Arts, education, property development, manufacturing, retail and hospitality.
Tori is currently the CEO of The Cedars in Hahndorf – the historic home, studio, garden and 150 acre estate of Australian landscape painter Sir Hans Heysen, where she is also overseeing the development of a $9 million world-class art gallery, restaurant and retail space designed to preserve and promote the Heysen legacy.
From 2011 to 2018, Tori resided in Hanoi where she was the Founder and Managing Director of TWDCo, Vietnam – an international consulting company focused on assisting individuals and organisations including UNICEF, Vietnam, The World Health Organisation, Vietnam, and the Australian, New Zealand, British and American Embassies optimise their work forces to meet global demands. During this time she also held the role of Vice President of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
Prior to this Tori was a director of David Bromley Pty Ltd where she developed the career and profile of internationally renowned artist David Bromley, running his studio and mapping strategies for nationally and internationally promotion.
Tori has a background that covers acting and serious adventure as well as formal academic and professional disciplines. She brings both an international and local perspective to her work and delights in working with diverse stakeholders towards a shared vision.
Trang has been appointed to the role for a term of 2 years and we encourage all Members and non-Members to reach out to her and share information or assist her to make the Da Nang and Central Region a strong and integral part of AusCham in Vietnam.
If you have not met Trang, she would describe herself as an enthusiastic and passionate technophile. After living, working and studying in Australia, Trang returned home to set up Enouvo Group in Da Nang providing IT consulting services and co-working & co-living spaces in the city that has now grown a reputation for its tech savvy entrepreneurs and advanced technical services. Trang spends a good part of her time networking and building strong open reciprocal relationships and AusCham welcomes her and experience to the role.
