Directors of AustCham ASEAN, including AusCham’s President, Ms Chau Ta, will travel to Australia as part of ASEAN Australia Week which runs from 12-18 March 2018.
Highlights for AustCham ASEAN include:
14-15 March – ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) Meeting and exclusive dialogue with AustCham ASEAN and Australia-ASEAN Business Council (AABC)
ASEAN BAC is mandated to provide private sector feedback and guidance to boost ASEAN’s efforts towards economic integration. The Council has agreed to host its quarterly meeting in Sydney to coincide with the Special Summit – this is the first meeting to be held outside an ASEAN country. The meeting will help raise the profile of Australia-ASEAN business groups and strengthen engagement between Australia and ASEAN business leaders.
15 March, 5.45-9pm – AustCham ASEAN Business survey launch
The business survey launch is building into a very large event, with strong support from the NSW Government. It is expected that Federal Trade Minister, Steve Ciobo will officially launch the survey and provide closing remarks.
