Congratulations to Australian Alumni in Vung Tau (AAV) which has just held its first ever official event (outside a party two days earlier for its 100th “Like” on Facebook!). The group comprises Australian Alumni as well as some alumni from other countries. AusCham has been an active supporter from the outset.

Between 60 and 70 people attended, including a number of businesses such as AusCham Member, The Grand Ho Tram.

AAV’s inaugural event was extremely well received by the alumni and the representatives of businesses.

One business representative remarked that it was only recently that he had realised just how many of his own staff were Australian Alumni.

Special thanks to Mr Hồ Thái Bình (alumnus from University of Queensland and RMIT University Vietnam (both are AusCham Members) ) who is the main driving force behind AAV, MC, Ms Đinh Thiên Hành and all the organisers.

AusCham was an official supporter of the event and was represented by Executive Director, Phil Johns.
