Applications are now open for the Australian Government’s Business Partnerships Platform (BPP) Round 3.
The BPP is one part of Australia’s efforts to engage the private sector in addressing development challenges in Asia, Africa and the Pacific. The BPP seeks to create shared value by supporting policies and practices which improve the competitiveness of companies, as well as improve the social and environmental conditions in the regions in which they operate.
For each initiative, the Australian Government will co-invest between $100,000 and $500,000 to match 1:1 the contributions of partner organisations.
In Vietnam, the Australian Government invites applications for organisations conducting initiatives in the following sectors:
- resources and clean energy;
- economic governance;
- agriculture, water and fisheries;
- ICT and financial inclusion; and
- transport and infrastructure.
Eligible organisations include businesses, investors, social enterprises, non-government organisations, not-for-profit organisations, cooperatives, universities or consortiums. Successful projects will align with five key selection criteria: partnership, gender equality, social impact, commercial viability and value for money. The guidelines attached provide further information about selection criteria and the application process.
The deadline for submitting your application is 10 August 2018. To apply or to learn more, visit www.dfat.gov.au/bpp/round3.
