Overseas visits by government ministers can help advance
Australia’s diplomatic and economic interests and promote the international
competitiveness of Australian businesses. By accompanying ministers on their
international visits, Australian businesses and education institutions have the
opportunity to explore new markets and new business
opportunities.

On 18 November 2013, the Minister for Trade and Investment,
Andrew Robb, launched an online register for businesses to indicate their
interest in participating in Ministerial-led business delegations. This register
is being managed by Austrade and is accessible by

. It enables companies and business associations to indicate
their interest both in specific regions and also industry sectors.

As at 9 December, over 180 businesses from across Australia,
representing a range of industries, have registered their
interest.

If this is of interest to you,
please register your expression of interest by completing the on line application
form
.

Please note that the expression of interest does require an ABN No. and does not guarantee
participation in a mission. Participant costs for each mission are the
responsibility of the individual.
