In breaking news, ABC International has just confirmed with AusCham at 8am this morning that there will be a live telecast in Vietnam of the ANZAC Dawn Service from Gallipoli. the service to be held on Saturday, 25 April 2015 will marks the 100th anniversary of the landings on ANZAC Cove in Turkey.

The ABC will “ungeoblock our News24 stream only, which is the broadcast channel for ANZAC coverage from 0425 AET until 2000 AET.” This service will be available through the ABC’s website at abc.net.au

In other news, for those thinking about coverage of the AFL’s ANZAC Round, it is on Australia Plus TV “which, as you know, is not rebroadcast in Vietnam at present”. But, according to Aunty, “this is something we are working on very hard to fix”.

The way Aunty is travelling, you would have to say that Uncle is batting way above his average!
