Yesterday morning (25 October 2015), the Breast Cancer Network Vietnam (BCNV) (an AusCham NGO member) held an opening ceremony for the “Pink Life” campaign for the month of October. The event was held in in Lê Thị Riêng Park, District 3, HCMC.
The event was organised by Executive Director of BCVN, Ms Nguyen Thuy Tien to raise the level of awareness and support for victims of Breast cancer in Vietnam. Supporters include Uber, Hard Rock, Flower Living (Magazine) and Hoan My Hospital.
BCNV was set up by Tien’s sister, Thuong Sobey (an Australian Alumna) who died earlier this year from breast cancer (click here).
If you visit the Pink Life campaign in District 3, you will be inspired. The stories are amazing – some of which appear in photos below.
