AusCham is working with Immigration and Border Protection at the Australian Embassy in Hanoi to host an information session on business visas. It is proposed that the Information Session will be held late October (details to be advised).

This Information Session will cover business visas only. An information session on tourist visas will be considered after that for Hanoi. There are no plans to host an Information Session on Migration Visas at this stage.

Subject to the level of interest in Business Visas in Hanoi, Border Protection and Immigration will consider running an Information Session in HCMC.

Indicative processing times

The Embassy strongly suggest you lodge your visa application at least four (4) weeks prior to your intended travel date. The Embassy also recommends that you do not enter into any binding financial commitments, such as purchasing airline tickets, before you have been notified of the decision on your visa application.

The Embassy regularly provides updates on its website regarding the processing times of various visas and can be accessed by clicking here. The processing times currently listed are for the month ending 31 July 2017.
