This August 16th at Reflections Restaurant, spend a special evening with whiskey brand ambassador Valentin Iulian as he mixes up some sublime cocktails made from whiskey from one of the world’s oldest whiskey distilleries, Bushmills of Northern Ireland, and pairs them expertly with a four-course dinner.
After 12 years of working in bars, Valentin’s passion for creating exceptionally balanced and beautiful drinks lead him to Southeast Asia where he took up the role of brand ambassador for Alchemy Wine and Spirits.
Upon arrival, guests will be served a selection of Bushmills cocktails with canapés before sitting down to indulge in a four-course pairing menu that includes a range of 10YO, 16YO and 21YO single malt Bushmills whiskeys.
On the menu is a delectable range of high-quality produce selected specifically for this event. As part of the canapés selection, guests will dine on haggis with a truffle and potato Bushmills Irish whiskey cream espuma and a Parmesan tuile with goat’s cheese and orange confit that is bound to spark the taste buds into action for what promises to be an amazing dining experience to follow.
The main courses will include the likes of chilled lobster tail with Iberian Cebo ham shoulder paired with a 10YO Bushmills single malt espuma; steamed red sea bream and tempura Peking duck with a 16YO Bushmills single malt pineapple relish gel; and five spice French pigeon flambéed with 16YO Bushmills single malt.
The dessert choices will feature a 21YO Bushmills single malt ice-cream with homemade honeycomb and caramel powder along with a gorgeous sounding orange and 21YO Bushmills single malt dark chocolate crème macaron.
