Nineteen Cracks Open Week-long Oyster Promotion

Extraordinary oyster experiences are the highlight of the

month at Nineteen Restaurant. From August 3 to 16, fans of the much-loved
mollusks can head for the dinner spread at the Caravelle’s stylish buffet
restaurant. The featured attraction? A freshly shucked oyster station, with a
choice of traditional condiments and Tabasco
sauces. Chefs will also be serving unlimited helpings of warm oysters prepared
in favorite recipes from East and West, including oysters Kilpatrick, yellow
oyster curry, and breaded deep-fried oysters with lemon wedges, fried parsley
and tartar sauce which priced at VND 1,013,000++

August 17 to 23, Saigon Saigon Bar’s Fish n’ Chips promotion brings a beloved
British tradition to bar-goers in the city. Fans of this casual, feel-good fare
can tuck into delicious fresh fish, lightly battered, fried golden brown and
crispy, and sprinkled with salt and vinegar. Priced at VND 298,000++ each
serving arrives hot with chunky potato fries and piquant tartar sauce.

Marvelous Mushrooms at Reflections

Sought by top chefs and enthusiasts the world over, prized by
high society for its subtle, delicate flavour, mushrooms have
a long and interesting culinary history. Reflections Restaurant is opening a
window on the mysterious mushroom with a Highland Mushroom Menu from August 17
to 23. Chef Darren Watson’s a la carte
menu showcases mushroom-inspired recipes from East and West, such as wild
mushroom lasagne with pine nuts, shitake and BBQ duck consommé with poached
duck egg, and seabass and mushroom roulade with bok choy and coconut sauce. A
three-course set menu with freshly brewed coffee or tea and assorted sweets is
priced at VND 990,000++.
