Starting last Friday’s evening, over the week-ends, 200,000 computers in more than 150 countries using Microsoft Windows Operation System were affected by a massive Ransomware attack which encrypts the victim’s information and demand a ransom to unlocking it.

Cyber-attack is no longer a remote risk to Vietnamese corporations. According to the Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team (VNCERT)’s report, Vietnam ranked among top ten countries with highest computer and online infection risk level due to the large number of users using Windows XP.
