Deloitte Vietnam Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) would like to invite you in a nationwide survey to assess the level of awareness and understanding of Vietnam based companies on risk management. In Vietnam nowadays, corporates are facing increasing risks due to ongoing series of new regulations and international agreements (Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Free Trade Agreements (FTA), etc.).
Evermore demanding expectation have been seen, through the increasing regulatory requirements both in international and Vietnam markets, ushered in by last global financial crisis which has affected Vietnam’s economy for many years. The new regulatory landscape is placing demands on Vietnam corporates in such areas as risk culture, corporate governance, competitive risk, operational risk, financial risks and capital adequacy, to name only some areas of focus. The key insight from the survey is to determine whether Vietnam companies are able to proactively anticipate and deal with many risks it faces in a period of uncertainty and heightened operational complexity and regulatory scrutiny.
According to ISO 31000, risk is defined as the effect of uncertainty on the achievement of objectives. Companies should manage risk to protect and create value to the stakeholders.

This survey is anonymous and the result will be sent out to you in briefing session upon survey closed by 19 November 2015. Completed online surveys are stored in Deloitte’s secure data center located in Singapore.
