In August 2016, Deloitte Vietnam cooperated with the Industrial Zones Management Boards in 5 key provinces/cities in the North, including Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen and Vinh Phuc, to organize Seminars to update new tax and customs regulations. During the seminars, we have conducted a survey on customs and import/export compliance and commonly associated risks, and obtained responses from nearly 800 representatives of enterprises participating in the seminars (of which over 90% are Export Processing and Export Manufacturing enterprises and Export Processing enterprise (“EPE”)).

Deloitte Vietnam understands that the issues collected may be the concerns of almost every enterprises, not only enterprises participating in the survey. In some cases, these are even difficulties faced by customs authority due to unclear guidance.

For summary of results from the survey, which cover analysis regarding common concerns on imported materials for export manufacturing/processing, inventory management, customs control and compliance procedures etc, for your reference, click Deloitte Vietnam_Tax Alert_ Survey on Common Concerns on Customs – En and Deloitte Vietnam_Tax Alert_ Survey on Common Concerns on Customs – Vn.

As requested by enterprises participating in our survey in August 2016, Deloitte Vietnam plans to organize a series of Seminars that are specialized on Customs and Import export duties. The Seminars would likely be held in some provinces that have a large number of EPE/Export Processing or Export Manufacturing Enterprises. We expect to host the specialized seminars in October 2016, which may help the business community to understand more on practical application, issues, and risks that may occur in relation to the import/export and customs procedures.

For enterprises that have not attended our August Seminars or ones located in other provinces, please kindly fill in our survey using the below link. It would support us in assessing general customs compliance status of your Company as well as demands for our assistance for your Company:
