Last night, 10 March 2015, the National Board at its Monthly Meeting approved a FINAL Draft CHARTER to be submitted to the members for their consideration at the 2015 AGMs in Hanoi and HCMC on 24 March 2015.

The proposed changes to the Charter dated 24 March 2014:

  • Restore voting rights to Vietnam-resident honourary lifetime members
  • Introduce two new classes of membership; namely SME Voting Membership and SME Associate Non Voting Membership for eligible organisations with less than 20 employees; and
  • Address certain other minor points aimed at improving consistency and clarity.

If you agree to the changes, you will be asked to vote “Yes” at the AGMs. If you disagree with the changes, you will be asked to vote “No”.

Voting may be done in advance online from 17 March until 5pm on 24 March 2015. Voting may also be done in person at either of the AGMs or via proxy.
