HANOI, Vietnam – (May 24th, 2018) – Hilton Hanoi Opera and Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi today announced the appointment of its key management personnel: Christophe Tourian as the new Cluster Director of Operations and Rohan Nayyar as the new Cluster Director of Business Development.

“Christophe’s extensive food & beverage background covering the UK, Spain, Thailand, Indonesia and, more notably Japan for the last 12 years, will ensure we are focusing on our operational performance through the outlets and conference business, whilst supporting the Head Chef’s desire to raise the level of the culinary offering. On the other hand, the appointment of Rohan, who has had more than 12 years of experience, advising hotel revenue strategy in diverse markets like Australia, India, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Singapore will guarantee our commercial effort levels up proportionately to the upgraded quality of operations,” said Andrew Nisbet, Cluster General Manager, Hilton Hanoi Opera and Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi.

 

As the food & beverage leader at Hilton Tokyo Bay previously, Christophe was responsible for managing Hilton largest dining operation in Asia Pacific as well as catering for the meetings and events at the Tokyo Disney Resort property. He also a played a critical role in leading and coaching a team of more than 100 F&B personnel and was instrumental in implementing major facility upgrade.

Relocating from Sydney, Australia, Rohan was Cluster Market Director of revenue strategy for Sydney Harbour Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott overseeing the revenue, online marketing and distribution functions of the two hotels. Originally a Hilton Management Trainee, Rohan has grown from strength to strength, working in Egypt, Singapore and United Arab Emirates. He successfully supported the launch of 4 different Marriott properties with the total inventory of 1020 keys, including the first Ritz Carlton in India (Ritz Carlton Bangalore) and the first Fairfield in Asia (Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru).

 

While Christophe graduated from Les Roches with a Diploma in Hotel Management in 2004, Rohan earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Hotel Management at the University of Huddersfield, the UK in 2005. Being driven by the love to travel and the determination to grow further in the hospitality industry, both are excited to immerse themselves in the Vietnamese market.
