KinderWorld Education Group (part of the Pegasus Education Group, a member of AusCham) has signed MOU with Hanoi People’s Committee dated 25 June 2017. We are pleased to inform you that KinderWorld Education Group has been commended by Hanoi People’s Committee (PC) for our continuous investment and ongoing developments in Hanoi for the past 17 years.
On 25 June 2017, Hanoi PC hosted a conference “Hanoi 2017: Investment Cooperation and Development” attended by Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc (Prime Minister), Mr Hoang Trung Hai (Party Secretary of Hanoi), Mr Nguyen Duc Chung (Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee), relevant authorities, members from the Diplomatic Missions, International Organisations, foreign and local companies, with the aim to foster business and investment opportunities in the capital city.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed to promote international educational projects between KinderWorld Education Group and Hanoi People’s Committee. The MOU was to further our investments in Hanoi by developing 3 flagship projects namely Singapore International School (Super School), Pegasus Smart Uni-City, Outward Bound Vietnam and Eco-tourism with an estimated capital of USD100 million. This is also to contribute to the improvement in general education, vocational, life skill and English competency training for officers, teachers and students at local schools around the city.
Our Chairman, Mr. Ricky Tan was also awarded the Medal “For The Cause of The Capital City Development” by Hanoi PC for his contributions to the development of the city over the years through a range of activities, including the offer of scholarships by KinderWorld.
