All sectors including business, nonprofit, philanthropy and government are working towards social, economic & environmental issues with their own charity and community development activities. Each sector is striving to transform their approaches in their Community development work, however, lack of experience and scattered resources remain to be challenges for more impactful and sustainable outcomes. When all sectors come together, it can leverage the expertise, insights, and knowledge across sectors to build meaningful partnerships & larger the impact to our communities.
On the heels of successes from LIN’s Annual Cross-Sector Conference 2019 organized in May – LIN aims to continue the theme to encourage partners to work together to build a stronger community. The workshop’s topics are developed based on the suggestions from the annual conference’s participants, to have more focused and practical discussions on how business & nonprofit sectors have transformed their approaches to community development work to be more engaged & sustainable.
