  • This morning I toured our Platinum Sponsor, Fantastic Manufacturing Vietnam’s new, purpose-built, 10,000sqm factory in Binh Duong (just outside HCMC). The factory is still being set up and management is forecasting some very impressive growth. AusCham looks forward to offering members a tour of this exciting company’s factory in Q3.

  • Good luck to Peter Carey who will compete in the Fraser Coast Regional Council elections on Saturday. Peter, who visited Vietnam in January with Ted Sorensen (Queensland State Member for Hervey Bay), is very keen to “further the relationship between the region and Vietnam”. He also hopes to return to Vietnam in August for the 50th Anniversary of Long Tan.
