Activity in Vietnam
UWS has been working with its flagship institution partner the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) on various joint academic programs and research initiatives since 2008. To date, over 300 students have gone throught the joint programs in Master of Business and Commerce and Master of Businesss Administration delivered either fully or partially in Ho Chi Minh City. Furthermore, more than 20 doctoral qualified academics completed and received UWS’s Doctor of Business Administration degree.
UWS is the major sponsor of an outstanding successful network event ‘Making Your Dreams Come True’ scholarship competition organised by HCMC Youth Union. The 2015 event saw 160,000 initial entries distilled down to five finalists who presented their vision of their own business across a series of challenges to political and business leaders in a two and a half hours live television special. The winner will travel to UWS on an undergraduate tuition scholarship, and all finalists will receive English language training at UWS College in Sydney.
UWS works with a number of high quality international education agents across Vietnam to promote UWS as the study abroad destination to Vietnamese students.
