TNK Capital Partners team joins EY in Vietnam

Latest addition is part of EY’s strategic investment in growing itsTransaction Advisory Services in the Asean Region

VIETNAM, 13 January 2016 – Professional services organization EY is pleased to announce that the TNK Capital Partners team have joined EY in Vietnam with effect from today.

Dr. Toan Nguyen and Dr. Du Tran, the partners of TNK Capital Partners, have joined as Partners leading the Transaction Advisory Services practice in EY in Vietnam. With the addition of the TNK Capital Partners team, the enlarged EY team in Vietnam will comprise over 20 professionals who will focus on M&A; Financial, Tax and Commercial Due Diligence; Corporate Finance Strategy; Corporate Restructuring; Valuations and Business Modelling; Infrastructure Advisory; Post-merger Integration; and Divestiture Advisory services.

This move for the TNK Capital Partners team to join EY is part of EY’s broader growth investment plan in its fast-growing Transaction Advisory Services service line in Asean, which has a current strength of over 50 Partners and over 500 dedicated professionalsdelivering connected and commercially focused advice to clients across the region on their deal and capital strategy and transformative activities.

Dr. Toan Nguyen was the co-founder of TNK Capital Partners. Prior to founding TNK, Toan worked at Au Viet Securities (HCMC, Vietnam) as COO and Asian Development Bank (Manila, Philippines) as an economist. Toan received his Ph.D. in Economics (2004) from New York University.

Dr. Du Tran was the Managing Partner of TNK Capital Partners. Prior to joining TNK, Du served as research economist for ERS Group (US) and lecturer at Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Du received his Ph.D. in Economics (2007) from the University of Texas at Austin.
