Pegasus Investment & Consultancy JSC (Pegasus), a 2015/16 member of AusCham, was established in Vietnam in 2011 as part of KinderWorld Education Group (Singapore) with the aim to provide higher education opportunities and attain recognized qualifications.

Pegasus, which was visited in Danang by AusCham’s Executive Director, Phil Johns, on 29 June 2015, is creating lots of interest in the media for all the right reasons.

The ever-increasing demand for high quality education in Vietnam has attracted many foreign investors to the sector.

When he visited Da Nang in 2003 with his family, after looking around the city and taking in the sights of nearby Hoi An and Hue, Mr. Ricky Tan, Chairman of the KinderWorld Education Group, and his wife were surprised by the lack of investment in Da Nang given its proximity to the two beautiful cities…

In 2006, at the invitation of city authorities, KinderWorld’s first campus at Le Loi Street in the heart of the city was opened, to cater to the growing international community and Vietnamese middle-class.

After further researching the potential of and demand in the city, KinderWorld decided to set up the Pegasus International College.

On May 22 it celebrated the opening of Phase 1 of the Pegasus Education Complex, which consists of the Pegasus International College and the Singapore International School, located on an area of 1.8 ha…
