AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT’S DIRECT AID PROGRAM 2017-18
APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
On Friday 4 August, 2017, the Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City opens applications for the Australian Government’s Direct Aid Program (DAP) grant round 2017-18, for projects in central and southern Vietnam. Small grants of up to AU$20,000 (US$15,000) are available to NGOs, community groups and other not-for-profit entities to undertake small-scale development projects focussing on the economic empowerment of disadvantaged communities and groups. The deadline for applications is Monday 4 September 2017.
DAP funding is competitive, in 2016-17 the Australian Consulate-General funded approximately AU$250,000 to 13 projects of the 142 applications received.
