PwC has appointed Nasir Dao – PKM Abdul as partner in Vietnam and head of the PwC Legal offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Nasir joins from Gide Loyrette Nouel, where he was heading the Vietnam practice. Prior to Gide Loyrette Nouel, Nasir worked at Hogan Lovells and led their Vietnam offices.

As a corporate and M&A specialist, Nasir has over 17 years’ experience of advising and representing international clients. His clients include multinational corporations, banks and other financial institutions, as well as major Vietnamese corporations. Nasir has worked in Vietnam for the past 12 years and his Vietnam practice spans private equity investments, private and public M&A, joint ventures and general corporate, investment and commercial matters. He also has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional work, in particular in relation to commercial litigation and dispute resolution/arbitration. A native French and Vietnamese speaker, Nasir is a French-qualified lawyer and he is also admitted to practice law in Vietnam as a registered foreign lawyer. Nasir is ranked individually as a leading practitioner by Legal 500 and Chambers.
