Savills Vietnam and Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation have signed a new partnership agreement to provide additional support to disadvantaged students in Vietnam. Savills is proud to sponsor the “Scholarships for a brighter future” programme.

The partnership with Blue Dragon is part of “Savills Cares” – Savills Vietnam’s corporate social responsibility campaign, which began in 2017. The campaign focuses on social activities, particularly in education, for the community. In 2018, Savills Cares sponsored the “Supporting tertiary students to succeed” programme by providing tuition fees and living supplies for disadvantaged university students. In 2019, Savills continues to support these students by offering annual training programmes and job opportunities at Savills for graduate students.

In addition to these scholarships and training programmes, Savills participates in a wide range of other community activities, including fundraising activities, donation drives and Mid-Autumn or Christmas parties for children. Savills will continue to focus the Savills Cares campaign on education with the belief that it is the key to the development of each child in Vietnam.

Mr Neil MacGregor – Managing Director of Savills Vietnam, said: “Savills Vietnam and Blue Dragon have always shared a mutual vision, and we strongly believe that education is crucial for a brighter future. In addition to financial support, the Savills Cares campaign also provides soft skills training courses.”

According to Mr. Michael Brosowski – Founder and CEO of Blue Dragon: “The children applying for “Scholarships for a brighter future” are disadvantaged students, most of them live in Central Vietnam where the economy and living standards are heavily affected by natural disasters every year. It is vital that these children can get a chance to start a new life, therefore we wish to express our gratitude to Savills Vietnam and Savills Cares for helping realize the dreams of many children in Vietnam.”

Blue Dragon is a charity organisation founded in 2003 to support disadvantaged children across Vietnam. With a core belief that all children deserve the best of care and support, Blue Dragon is committed to helping street kids, disabled children and young victims of human trafficking. Blue Dragon rescues and protects children from danger and exploitation, returns them to their families and gives them room for recovery and growth.
