Sofitel Plaza Hanoi is glad to announce the arrival of Ming Restaurant’s new Head Chef – Hong Tian Liu (Jack).
Chinese originated, Chef Jack has over 17 years of international culinary experience, which has fueled his passion and provided him with a unique gastronomic outlook. He began his professional journey in 1993 by gaining valuable experiences in restaurants and hotels in China. Then he spent 15 years working as Asian Chef in various luxury hospitality properties from different parts of the world before officially joined Sofitel Plaza Hanoi team. Chef Jack has chosen Vietnam to be the new stop of his gastronomic adventure and is more than ready to spread his culinary knowledge and endless passion for cooking.
In his new capacity, Chef Jack will showcase his extensive expertise of food preparation and contemporary Chinese cuisine at Ming Restaurant. By adding his own creative twist into traditional recipes, using the freshest ingredients, introducing more authentic Chinese spices and sauces to the dishes as well as cooking techniques that are prominent throughout China, Chef Jack will offer local connoisseurs an epic dining experience.
