The annual Australia Day Saigon Hash House Harriers Run takes place on the day, Sunday, 26th January. This is the day we celebrate what’s great about Australia and being Australian and share our celebrations with our friends from all corners of the globe including Americans, Canadians, English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Irish, Italian, Japanese, New Zealanders, Thais, and of course our Vietnamese friends. Our apologies if we have missed someone here.

There will be unique Australian food (i.e. Vegemite sandwiches) and other artefacts from ‘down under’ to remind us of Australia. You can run (8-9km) or walk (4-5km) or do something in between. The hash caters for all ages and it a great opportunity to get out into the countryside on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Beer water and soft drinks will be provided with some snacks in addition to the vegemite. Those that are interested can then join us at a venue for dinner that night. Donations of Australian wine are most welcome!!. Please refer to our website for further details of the hash:

Please note that this is a highly cultural event where you will be expected to discuss the influences of the philosophers Aristotle, Socrates, Plato and Homer on the Saigon Hash. “Absolutely none” is the correct answer.
