Based on the majority of the votes, we are pleased to congratulate Mr. Giles Cooper as our new Associate Board Member.

Mr. Cooper has been a Director of AusCham for the past eight years and has been AusCham’s national Vice President for the past two years. He has spoken on behalf of AusCham at prior VBF annual meetings and has represented it on several VBF Working Groups including the Infrastructure, Trade and Investment and Mining Working Groups.

Mr. Cooper is a Partner of law firm Duane Morris LLC and spends his time between Hanoi and HCMC. In the fifteen plus years Mr. Cooper has lived and worked in Vietnam as he has contributed, via the VBF and other avenues, to many of the critical legal reforms that have taken place in that time including multiple iterations of the Enterprise and Investment laws and changes brought about by the US-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement and Vietnam’s accession to the WTO.

We warmly welcome Mr. Giles Cooper to the Board and would like to thank all of you who nominated candidates and cast your vote in response to our earlier requests.

We thank you all for your time and support.
