On 25 May 2016 in Melbourne, 600 people paid AUD160 to attend a function hosted by the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI).

The guest speaker was Ben Roberts-Smith, recipient of the Victoria Cross “awarded in 2011 for the most conspicuous gallantry in action in circumstances of extreme peril in Afghanistan”.

Ben spoke on the importance of leadership and decision making under pressure.

Since retiring from the army in 2013, Ben has been doing a number of things including being appointed to Channel 7 Queensland as General Manager.

He is also studying towards a masters of business administration at the University of Queensland (AusCham Member) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AusCham Member).
