The Victorian State Government (South East Asia Office) is a Member of AusCham.
It has forwarded links to its official website regarding its State Nominated Significant Investor (Provisional) visa (subclass 188C).
According to its website, the Significant Investor visa is for people who are willing to invest at least A$5 million into complying investments in Australia and want to maintain business and investment activity in Australia. In order to lodge a valid visa application to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection you must receive nomination support from a state or territory government, or Austrade.
To be eligible for visa nomination by the state of Victoria, you will need to meet:
- the Department of Immigration and Border Protection’s eligibility requirements for this visa, Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188); and
- Victoria’s Significant Investor visa nomination assessment criteria.
