Vietnam Airlines made a series of moves on www.vietnamairlines.com and its app at the end of June to affirm its position in the e-commerce revolution.
Those familiar with using e-wallets such as Momo and VNPAY are now able to pay for tickets through QR Pay, which is simple, saves time, and bolsters card information security.
Customers can enjoy the convenience of booking tickets through its hotlines 1900 1100 and 1900 1800 as they do not have to go to a ticket office to pay. Passengers need only visit the carrier’s website or use internet banking or ATMs to pay.
They can now buy a ticket and book their seating quite easily, and payment upgrades are on the way via smartphones.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Head of Sales and Marketing at Vietnam Airlines, said Vietnam’s aviation sector has made remarkable progress during the e-commerce revolution. “Vietnam Airlines is ready to bring the most affordable booking options and payment options to every customer,” he added.
