…A delegation of WA supply chain participants will visit Indonesia and Vietnam (12-19 April) to investigate potential new markets, new business models for existing markets and opportunities to attract investment into the northern cattle industry.
The delegation will visit feedlots, beef retail outlets, abattoirs and ports in Lampung and Ho Chi Minh to gain a better industry understanding of the market place and the end users of WA products.
NBF manager of market and supply chain development Manus Stockdale… said that meetings will be also be held with beef and cattle importers to determine desired specifications and investigate different business models that offer new approaches to ‘doing the business’ rather than the current transactional approach of the industry.
