Ho Chi Minh City, October 20th, 2017 – The pre-eminent travel publication Condé Nast Traveler has named The Reverie Saigon at number four in its list of ‘50 Best Hotels in the World’. The result was from a survey of more than 300,000 of the magazine’s readers for their annual Readers Choice Awards. It was the only hotel in Vietnam to make the list.

In its citation, the magazine said: “The Reverie Saigon brought in a level of luxury previously unseen in Ho Chi Minh City when it was opened in 2015.”

It noted the opulent Italian decorations and furnishings, the three fine dining restaurants, and “a 157-foot bar that’s so long, it stretches from Dong Khoi Street all the way to Nguyen Hue Boulevard two blocks over”.

The Spa also garnered a mention for its 13,000-square-foot space and facilities that include two open-air Jacuzzis and an Olympic-size swimming pool.

Mr Kai Speth, Vice President Operations and Business Performance for WMC Group, which operates The Reverie Saigon, said the announcement was recognition of the unique vision the hotel presented and its commitment to creating the ultimate guest experience.

“Saigon is taking its rightful place as one of Asia’s leading cities, and upscale travelers expect the very best attainable, not merely the very best in Vietnam, but the very best anywhere. The announcement is recognition The Reverie Saigon truly belongs in that category.”

Mr Speth also paid tribute to the management and staff at the hotel, and the essential role they play. “The entire team at The Reverie Saigon are dedicated to providing the highest standards of service, and they carry out their mission each and every day. Our people are a crucial element in making this one of the best hotels in the world.”
