VBF: MPI requests for updating issues on Law on Enterprises 2020 - COB 12th August

Dear AusCham Members and Friends,

Vietnam Business Forum (VBF), to which AusCham is an Associate Chamber, has received the Office Letter No. 5595 dated 17 July 2024 from the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), requesting inputs from business community on difficulties and obstacles in implementing the Law on Enterprises (LOE) 2020 and recommendations for amendment/ supplementing. This is for the Ministry to elaborate reports and proposal on amending and supplementing the LOE 2020.

• MPI OL No. 5595 dated 17 July 2024 in which we have quick translated the following key contents for your reference:

               + 03 groups of difficulties in implementing LOE;

               + Orientation for amendment/ supplementing.

• List of VBF current issues on LOE that MPI would request VBF to provide updates (if any): This document is extracted from the Minutes of VBF’s fruitful technical meeting with MPI held on 13 March 2024. Please note that your updates (if any) on this part should be made in track-change format for our ease of consolidation.

• For any other issues, please kindly fill in VBF’s template for comments.

Your inputs should be made preferably in Vietnamese and reverted to AusCham Advocacy Officer at advocacy@auschamvn.org by COB 12th August 2024 for further actions.
