AusCham attends the 2026 Lunar New Year Reception hosted by the Chairman of the HCMC People's Committee
HCMC, 09 Feb 2026 – Representatives of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham) recently attended the official Lunar New Year 2026 Reception, hosted by Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

The AusCham delegation, including Mr. Edwin Law (Executive Director) and Mr. Alex Salamanca (Director of the Board), joined diplomatic corps and international business leaders in a festive gathering to celebrate the Year of the Horse.


During the reception, Chairman Nguyen Van Duoc expressed his sincere gratitude to the international community for their role in the city's robust growth. He emphasized that the City Leadership remains dedicated to creating a transparent and favorable environment for foreign investors, viewing them as a vital pillar in HCMC's journey to becoming a regional financial and technological hub.
Mr. Edwin Law and Mr. Alex Salamanca engaged in high-level discussions with city officials, reaffirming AusCham’s commitment to fostering the bilateral relationship between Australia and Vietnam.
