AusCham Calls for Member Input on Trade and Investment Barriers in Vietnam
AusCham Vietnam invites Members to share their insights on trade and investment barriers affecting Australian businesses in Vietnam ahead of upcoming bilateral working group meetings between Australia and Vietnam.
In preparation for the Economic Partnership Meeting and Trade Ministers’ Dialogue, Australian and Vietnamese officials will convene two working group meetings:
Trade Working Group: Wednesday, 21 October 2026
Investment Working Group: Friday, 23 October 2026
These meetings provide an important opportunity for both governments to exchange updates on trade and investment priorities, address practical challenges, and review progress under the Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy (EEES).
To support these discussions, AusCham is seeking feedback from Members on key barriers, regulatory challenges, and policy concerns affecting their business operations, trade activities, or investment plans in Vietnam.
Areas of interest include market access, customs and taxation, licensing and administrative procedures, investment regulations, and other challenges impacting bilateral trade and investment.
Members are encouraged to submit their feedback by Tuesday, 20 October 2026, to allow AusCham to consolidate relevant issues and share them with Australian government counterparts ahead of the meetings.
Please send your comments to Ms Huong Tran, AusCham Head of Advocacy & Partnerships at advocacy@auschamvn.org. Commercially sensitive information will be treated confidentially.
Your input is valuable in helping AusCham advocate for a more transparent, predictable, and business-friendly trade and investment environment between Australia and Vietnam.
