AusCham Joins the 25th Anniversary of Viet Nam’s Securities Market and Launching the New Information Technology System

HCMC, 28 July 2025 – Mr. Edwin Law, AusCham Executive Director, attended the official Ceremony Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Viet Nam’s Securities Market and Launching the New Information Technology System, held by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC), in coordination with the Stock Exchanges and the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC).

The event was a major milestone in the development of Vietnam’s capital market, attracting the participation of senior leaders from the Ministry of Finance, SSC, Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE), international partners, and representatives of domestic and foreign business communities. 

The newly launched technical system is expected to significantly modernize Vietnam’s trading and post-trading operations, paving the way for new financial products and increased efficiency.

AusCham congratulates the SSC on this important achievement and reaffirms its commitment to facilitating dialogue between Australian businesses and Vietnamese authorities, particularly in areas that contribute to long-term economic development and financial integration.
