AusCham joins Reception Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day

On 19 August 2025, Ho Chi Minh City hosted a reception to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (2 September 1945 – 2 September 2025). The event, organised by the City’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, welcomed government leaders, the diplomatic community, international organisations and business associations.

AusCham was honoured to be part of this special occasion, represented by President Sam Conroy and Executive Director Edwin Law.

In his address, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, expressed heartfelt thanks to international partners and friends for their trust and support over the years, and reaffirmed the city’s vision of being a reliable, safe and dynamic partner for global cooperation.

The evening was a warm gathering that reflected the spirit of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and its international partners. AusCham was delighted to join the celebration and looks forward to continuing to strengthen the close ties between Australia and Vietnam.
