AusCham Participates in BPP Climate Adaptation Showcase in the Mekong Delta

Can Tho, 22 October 2025 - AusCham Vietnam was honoured to participate in the Business Partnerships Platform (BPP) Climate Adaptation Showcase & Demo Day, supported by the Australian Government at the Sheraton Can Tho Hotel. The event brought together over 100 climate innovators, government leaders, and impact investors to highlight community-led solutions and strengthen collaboration for a more climate-resilient Mekong Delta.

Representing AusCham were Mr. Sam Conroy (President), Mr. Edwin Law (Executive Director), Mr. Nguyen Doan Giang (Board Member) and Mr. Kelvin Le (AusHub Representative), who joined regional partners in exploring opportunities for Australian-Vietnamese collaboration in climate adaptation, renewable innovation and sustainable development. Through AusHub, AusCham continues to promote impactful partnerships connecting Australian expertise with Vietnam’s growing climate innovation ecosystem.

The program featured keynote remarks from representatives of the Australian and Vietnamese governments, presentations from the BPP Climate Adaptation Partnerships and discussions on sustainable growth partnerships as well as Vietnam’s emerging carbon market. The event also showcased six pioneering enterprises from the Deltaccelerate program, hosted by New Energy Nexus, each presenting innovative business models designed to strengthen local climate resilience.

Since 2016, the Australian Government has invested AUD 9.4 million through the BPP in Vietnam, supporting 16 private-sector partnerships that tackle climate change, advance sustainable carbon markets and improve livelihoods - mobilising an additional AUD 13.6 million in private-sector co-funding.
