AusCham Participates in Vietnam National Innovation Day 2025

Hanoi, 01 October 2025 - AusCham joined the Vietnam National Innovation Day 2025 at Hoa Lạc Hi-tech Park, an event that brought together government leaders, innovators, enterprises, and international partners to advance Vietnam’s innovation agenda. Ms Huong Tran, Head of Advocacy & Partnerships, participated on behalf of AusCham Vietnam.

Organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, National Innovation Day is held annually on 1 October and runs alongside the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition (VIIE). This year’s programme highlighted Vietnam’s growing commitment to science, technology, and digital transformation as drivers of sustainable growth.

Key activities included the launch of the Provincial Innovation Index 2025, policy forums on innovation frameworks, and exhibitions showcasing advanced technologies and startup solutions. Senior Party and State leaders attended the opening, signalling strong national support for innovation as a cornerstone of development.

For AusCham, the event offered a valuable platform to strengthen dialogue with policymakers, innovation agencies, and industry leaders. It also provided opportunities to connect Australian expertise in fields such as clean energy, agritech, biotechnology, and digital transformation with Vietnam’s innovation priorities.

Vietnam has set the goal of becoming a high-income country by 2045, placing innovation and international collaboration at the centre of this ambition. AusCham’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem while promoting stronger partnerships between Australian and Vietnamese businesses.
