AusCham Represented at VIFC–ACCA Forum 2026 in Da Nang

Da Nang, 18 September 2026 – Mr Adrian Robertson, AusCham Representative in Central Vietnam, represented the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham) at the VIFC–ACCA Forum 2026, held at the Da Nang City Administrative Centre.

Organised by the VIFC–Da Nang Executive Agency in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the forum brought together government representatives, international organisations, financial institutions, investors, businesses and industry experts.

Under the theme “Legal Frameworks, Priority Sectors, Financial Products and Investment Opportunities at VIFC–Da Nang,” discussions explored the regulatory foundations and development priorities for Vietnam’s International Financial Centre in Da Nang. Participants also considered prospective financial products, investment models and partnership opportunities that could support the centre’s long-term growth.

The forum highlighted the importance of a transparent and predictable legal framework, effective governance and a highly skilled financial workforce in building investor confidence. It also reflected Da Nang’s ambition to position itself at the intersection of finance, technology and innovation while developing stronger links with regional and international markets.

These developments are relevant to Australian businesses and investors seeking opportunities in Vietnam’s financial services, technology, professional services and sustainable investment sectors. The establishment of an internationally connected financial centre could create new avenues for collaboration while strengthening the broader business environment in Central Vietnam.
