AusCham Vietnam and SACA Advance Strategic Collaboration at The 35th Anniversary Celebration

The President of AusCham Vietnam, Mr. Samuel Conroy, recently attended the 35th anniversary celebration of SACA – Ho Chi Minh City Construction & Building Material Association, a milestone event that brought together industry leaders, businesses, and partners from across Vietnam’s construction and building materials sector.

During the event, Mr. Samuel Conroy participated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between AusCham Vietnam and SACA, reaffirming AusCham’s commitment to supporting industry collaboration, sustainable development, and stronger business connections between Vietnam and the international business community. The MoU formalises cooperation between AusCham Vietnam and SACA to promote knowledge sharing, industry networking, and collaborative initiatives that support sustainable development and innovation within Vietnam’s construction and building materials sector.

AusCham Vietnam also hosted a booth throughout the event, creating opportunities to engage with industry stakeholders, exchange insights, and strengthen relationships with businesses operating across the construction, infrastructure, and sustainability sectors.

The event highlighted the growing momentum behind Vietnam’s transition toward more sustainable and innovation-driven construction practices. As the country continues to experience rapid urbanisation and economic growth, businesses are increasingly embracing green building standards, digital transformation, and ESG-focused strategies to enhance long-term resilience and competitiveness.

Industry leaders at the celebration also emphasised the importance of cross-sector collaboration and knowledge sharing in shaping the future of Vietnam’s built environment, particularly as sustainability becomes an increasingly important priority for both local and international investors.

AusCham Vietnam looks forward to deepening cooperation with SACA and supporting members as Vietnam’s construction industry continues to evolve.
