AusCham Vietnam attends Australian Grain Industry Roundtable in Hanoi
Hanoi, 13 March - Mr David Whitehead, AusCham BOD Member and Ms Huong Tran, AusCham Head of Advocacy & Partnerships represented the Chamber at the Australian Grain Industry Roundtable (AGIC) held at the Australian Embassy in Hanoi on 13 March 2026.
The roundtable took place alongside the Australian Grains Industry Conference (AGIC) Asia 2026, a key regional platform connecting Australian grain exporters with partners across Asia, including Vietnam.
AGIC Asia 2026, hosted by Grain Trade Australia, brought together industry leaders, government representatives, and market participants to discuss crop outlook, market conditions, quality assurance systems, and evolving customer requirements across the grain value chain.
As part of the program, the Hanoi roundtable provided an opportunity for direct engagement between Australian industry stakeholders and Vietnamese government agencies, regulators, and business representatives. Discussions focused on strengthening mutual understanding, supporting market access, and enhancing long-term trade relationships between Australia and Vietnam.

AusCham Vietnam’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to facilitating dialogue between Australian and Vietnamese stakeholders, particularly in sectors critical to bilateral trade such as agriculture and food supply chains.
Through engagement in forums such as AGIC, AusCham continues to support its members by connecting them with key industry developments, policy discussions, and partnership opportunities, contributing to sustainable and mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
