Hanoi, Vietnam – April 16, 2025 — AusCham Vietnam was honoured to take part in the fourth Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) Summit, held in Hanoi from April 16–17, 2025. The summit brought together over 1,000 delegates from 46 countries, including heads of state, senior government leaders, business executives, and representatives from international organizations.

Representing AusCham at the prestigious event was Executive Director Mr. Edwin H. Law, who participated in the High-Level Plenary Session and the official Gala Dinner hosted by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính.

With the theme “Sustainable Green Transition: Putting People at the Center,” the 2025 P4G Summit emphasized inclusive, people-focused strategies for green growth. Vietnam played host to global leaders committed to addressing climate change and advancing sustainable development.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính called for global unity and long-term vision.

“We must unite to create a world that is greener, cleaner, more beautiful, and better for generations to come,” the Prime Minister said, reaffirming Vietnam’s pledge to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and its commitment to multilateral cooperation in climate action.

Party General Secretary Tô Lâm, in a keynote policy address, underscored the country’s development approach:

“Vietnam is determined to pursue a sustainable, inclusive, and harmonious development path—one that balances economic growth with cultural identity, social equity, environmental protection, and climate resilience.”

AusCham’s participation at the summit highlights its strong commitment to supporting Vietnam’s green growth ambitions and promoting sustainable partnerships between Australian businesses and the broader region. Through active engagement in high-level policy dialogues, AusCham continues to champion private sector voices in shaping a more resilient, sustainable future.
