AusCham Vietnam Signs Landmark MOU with Danang Association of Women Entrepreneurs (DAWE)
AusCham Vietnam is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Danang Association of Women Entrepreneurs (DAWE), marking an important milestone in strengthening business cooperation in Central Vietnam.
The MOU was formally signed on 16 January 2026 by Ms Nguyen Thi My Huong, Vice Chairwoman of DAWE and Mr Edwin Law, AusCham Executive Director, on behalf of the association, in the presence of key representatives from both organisations.

This agreement represents the first MOU between DAWE and a foreign business association, and also the first MOU between AusCham and a local business association in Central Vietnam - a significant step forward in expanding AusCham’s regional engagement.
Under the MOU, AusCham and DAWE commit to establishing a collaborative framework to support trade, investment, and entrepreneurship in Central Vietnam. The Parties will work together across several priority areas, including:
Business networking and enterprise connectivity
Investment promotion and market access support
Policy dialogue and local stakeholder engagement
Knowledge sharing, capacity building, and joint activities
Through these areas of cooperation, the two organisations aim to strengthen business linkages between AusCham members and women-led enterprises in Da Nang, facilitate market entry and expansion opportunities, and promote inclusive and sustainable business practices in the region.
From AusCham’s perspective, this partnership reflects a strong commitment to enhancing the visibility and representation of AusCham members in Central Vietnam, while also strengthening on-the-ground support for members operating in, or exploring opportunities in, the central region. The MOU provides a practical platform for closer collaboration, program-based initiatives, and the co-organisation of events, training programmes, business forums, and investment promotion activities.
The MOU will be effective for an initial term of three years and serves as a non-binding framework to guide cooperation between the two organisations, with specific activities to be agreed separately on a case-by-case basis.
AusCham looks forward to working closely with DAWE to deliver meaningful outcomes for members of both organisations and to contribute to stronger Australia–Vietnam business ties, particularly in Central Vietnam.
