Calling for Inputs for meeting with the Central Economic Committee

Dear AusCham Members and Friends,

We are delighted to inform you that AusCham will be hosting a meeting with the Central Economic Committee on the 7th of August. The Central Economic Committee plays a crucial role as an advisory and assisting agency of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, providing guidance on economic institutions, major socio-economic policies, and measures.

The agenda for the meeting will revolve around the following key topics:
- Challenges faced by Australian businesses in Vietnam (such as licensing, taxation, labor, import-export regulations, fire protection, etc.)
- Root causes of these challenges (including regulatory frameworks, implementation issues, etc.)
- Recommendations and proposals from the Australian business community

We invite you to share your valuable insights and experiences for this important discussion. Your input is vital in shaping the dialogue and advocating for improvements in the business environment. If you have encountered any obstacles during your business operations in Vietnam, we encourage you to voice your concerns to AusCham's Advocacy Officer, Ms. Huong Tran, at advocacy@auschamvn.org

Thank you for your continued support and active participation. We eagerly anticipate your contributions to this significant meeting.
