Updates on Outgoing letters to the Government from 05 - 16 Aug 2024

From 05 to 16 August, AusCham joined with Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) to make comments on various legal issues of the Government. Specifically:

1. Banking Working Group: OL No. 07082024BWGVBF on the difficulties and challenges on the regulations to "related parties";
2. Capital Markets Working Group: OL No.VBF14824 on additional comments on the Draft Circular (Updated version on July 19, 2024) amending and supplementing provisions of the Circulars regulating securities transactions on the securities trading system; clearing and settlement of securities transactions; operations of securities companies; and information disclosure in the securities market;
3. Investment & Trade Working Group: OL No. ITWG15824 on issues on difficulties and obstacles in implementing the Law on Enterprises (LOE) 2020 and recommendations for amendment/ supplementing (as per MPI request No. 5595 dated 17 July 2024 FYR).
